It was an honour to host staff from the GIZ S(HE) Project at our office on Wednesday, 9th September 2024. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for engagement, knowledge sharing, and strengthening collaboration between our teams.
The purpose of the visit was to conduct a learning needs assessment aimed at enhancing competency-based training modules ahead of an upcoming capacity-building programme titled “Strengthening the Range of Services Offered by CSOs in Ghana to Support Persons Affected by SGBV and Discrimination.” This assessment is a key step toward ensuring that organisations like ours are well-equipped to deliver impactful, inclusive, and responsive services to vulnerable groups.

During the session, both teams engaged in meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and explored practical ways to improve service delivery and institutional capacity. The interaction was insightful and reaffirmed the importance of continuous learning and partnership in addressing issues of SGBV and discrimination.
We are excited about this collaboration and deeply appreciate the continued support from GIZ towards strengthening the work of the Song-Ba Empowerment Centre. We look forward to the positive impact this initiative will bring to the communities we serve.
