Song-Ba Empowerment Centre is an organization set up to support women and girls in deprived areas of the Northern Region of Ghana with a sustained source of livelihood. It serves as an avenue to empower women and girls who have not had the privilege of formal education, “kayayo girls,” teenage mothers, and other vulnerable groups of women and girls to be able to earn a livelihood. The organization is pivotal in this regard to help equip women and girls with skill training, goal-setting and vision training, resource mobilization, menstrual hygiene management, and advocacy.
